{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"eaa0baff3cb9a14e69a3fa5d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/eaa0baff3cb9a14e69a3fa5d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/eaa0baff3cb9a14e69a3fa5d","title":"Warehouse Assistant","description":"Brief Description\nThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day activities and all tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of product/materials used in the warehouse of an oilfield remanufacture facility.\nDetailed Description\nUse a manufacturing system (ERP) to perform material transactions\nUse a manufacturing system (ERP) to maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and print inventory reports\nExamine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy\nRecord shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes for domestic and international shipments\nPackage and prepare materials for shipments and make arrangements or issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials\nDeliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, forklifts, or sorting bins\nRequisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock\nDetermine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped\nManage the process of unloading and loading trailers, picking, packing, and shipping stock, tracking and counting material, and placing materials in proper locations\nUtilize the established tools, equipment, and technologies required to initiate or complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the warehouse\nOperate forklifts, including narrow aisle reach trucks\nMaintain a well-organized and clean work environment\nEnsure that safety procedures are followed in accordance with established regulations (e.g., OSHA, PPE, etc.)\nMaintain warehouse equipment and facility records by following the preventative maintenance schedule\nPerform various other tasks as required\nJob Requirements\nExcellent computer skills, including ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to safely lift and carry 50 pounds independently\nHighly detail-oriented and thorough\nAbility to communicate effectively with department representatives and management, both verbally and in writing\nAble to work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish goals and to identify and resolve shipping and receiving issues\nAbility to operate hydraulic lift trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment\nPreferred Qualifications\n3 years of experience using an ERP system\nForklift certification/license\nPay: $20.00 -
