We provide investment, relationship, and practice management solutions that advisors use in helping clients achieve wealth, independence, and purpose.\nThe Job/What You'll Do:\nThe Tech Lead (Senior Software Engineer) will research, design, develop, configure, integrate, test and maintain existing and new applications and/or integrate 3rd party developed applications with Asset Mark’s systems. Responsible for conducting, and coordinating software development activities throughout various projects, including key design decisions. Candidate will work closely with Application Architects and business SMEs and will be reporting to the IT Manager Digital Maintenance.\nWe can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA office.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, Code, debug and Develop batch-oriented file processing & application development.\nDocument key SDLC processes by producing formal documents like Solution Architecture Document Technical System Design Specifications, etc.\nSoftware analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis\nCollaborate with 3rd party vendors and develop suitable integration solutions\nConduct formal and informal training and learning sessions with Team members.\nProvides near to accurate estimates (Resource / Time) to Management for work activities\nParticipates in troubleshooting complex issues and resolving defects\nProvide technical thought leadership and be a strong collaborator with domain SMEs, application architects and senior development teams and management\nAdopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs\nParticipate in various Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews.\nMentor and assist Scrum team members in accomplishing their assigned tasks and removing any impediments.\nPerform Code Review sessions with the development team to improve the quality of the system / Processes developed.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nFamiliarity with other Cloud computing services like AWS, GCP etc.,\nFamiliarity with project management systems such as TFS/JIRA / MS Project / Excel.\nAbility to quickly grasp new technology concepts.\nObject-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) concepts.\nExpertise in working with offshore developers is a nice to have.\nExcellent communication skills\nGood knowledge and experience with other vendor’s platforms, products, companies and philosophies.\nDemonstrated expertise in collaborating in a matrixed architecture team delivering timely results.\nExceptional technical skills, marked by poise, positive influence, and the ability to drive change\nStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence senior product leaders across both the business and technology\nSignificant expertise establishing and develop strong working relationships with all levels of associates, while maintaining appropriate levels of objectivity to their work\nDemonstrated ability to employ judgment and experience to make rapid, complex decisions\nStrong interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills (written and oral)\nResults orientation; ability to remove obstacles and hold people accountable for achieving challenging business results\nAttention to detail, good team dynamics, and an ability to work independently as needed\nEducation & Experience:\nBS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or experience\n1+ Year of experience in developing and implementing ReactJS SPAs.\n10+ years of experience in Information Technology supporting development of complex projects involving significant exposure to custodian review and risk systems\nExpertise in administering, integrating, orchestrating various resources on Azure\nExpertise in Design and Development of Web / Windows applications in various Microsoft technologies such as (C#, VB.Net)\nStrong experience with SQL Server (DB Design, Query Optimization, Indexing)\nExperience with various Azure Cloud resources\nExperience with Azure Logic Apps.\nExperience with Azure SQL and Document-Oriented Database programs.\nExperience with PostgreSQL DB\nExperience with Agile development methodologies (SAFE)\nExperience with Version control, setting up CI/CD pipelines/Releases, using Azure DevOps services.\nExperience with QA Automation and integration with Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.\nCompensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $145,000-$160,000.\nThis information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
