You will work with advanced AV technologies to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and project milestones.Clearance RequirementU.S. Citizenship requiredActive DoW Top Secret clearance requiredApplicants must be able to pass a Background Check.Primary Responsibilities:Experience developing, modifying, and troubleshooting Crestron, Extron, or AMX control system codeDesign, read, and interpret drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural drawings for a vast array of projectsTerminate and test a variety of wire and connector types (audio, video, network, control, power)Supervise and assist with the physical installation of a wide variety of AV and supporting technologies in diverse environmentsSupervise and support equipment rack preparation and staging, including wire lacing and installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etcMount equipment such as monitor mounts, ceiling speakers, and microphones.Install and configure video wallsAssist with system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure systems meet design and performance requirementsMaintain an organized, clean, and professional work environmentEducation/Certifications:5+ years of AV or electronics field installation experienceExperience leading or supporting installation teams preferredHands-on experience working with and manipulating Crestron, Extron, or AMX programming and control systems (preferred)Excellent Verbal and Written English SkillsGood customer service skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and professionally in on-site government and military environmentsBasic networking knowledgeAVIXA CTS certification (preferred)Sec + certification (preferred)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceDaily per diem for travel (GSA-aligned)Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays)Travel and Work EnvironmentRemote-based role with ~40% travel within the DMV areaOccasional in-office presence for collaboration and team needsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in active job site environmentsEqual Opportunity EmployerPEAKE hires based solely on business needs and the qualifications of each individual.
