RackerPosition: RackerJob Type: HourlyPay Rate: $15/hourShift: 1st (5:30 AM 4:30 PM) Mon-ThursLocation: Grand Rapids, MIJob Summary: As an Inspector, you will work collaboratively on a production team to meet goals around racking, inspection, sorting, packaging, and labeling. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality finishes.Roles and Responsibilities:Maintain professionalism at all times while on the production floorLearn and understand production processes related to inspectionIdentify and categorize plating defects with precisionAccurately enter inspection data into computer systemsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team membersReceive training on new parts and product requirementsOperate plant equipment and organize materialsPerform final packaging and labeling of productsAdhere to handling and palletizing proceduresAssist with material handling, inventory, sorting, and racking tasksAttach products to racks according to specific instructionsRespond quickly to other duties as assignedQualifications & Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailBasic computer proficiencyAbility to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 70 lbs, and perform repetitive motionsMust wear close-toed shoes; comfortable working in hot/humid plant conditionsCommitment to following safety guidelines and proceduresEquivalent relevant experience requiredCompany is committed to creating a safe, professional, and inclusive workplace where every employee is valued.
