Project Construction Manager

Role Description The Project Construction Manager will oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of store construction and renovation projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Troy, MI. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and vendors, maintaining project timelines and budgets, securing necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with building codes and company standards. The Project Construction Manager will also conduct site inspections, provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, and address any emerging challenges to ensure successful project outcomes. Qualifications Proven project management skills, including the ability to plan, schedule, and execute construction projects efficiently and within budget.Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and permitting processes.Experience in vendor and contractor management, negotiation, and coordination.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams, engineers, architects, and client representatives.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and adapt to project changes.Proficiency in construction management software and tools is a plus.Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.Prior experience in retail or commercial construction projects is preferred but not required.
