Job Description Our client is looking for an exceptional IT Project Manager -Infrastructure / Applications. Long term Contract- W2Location :Houston, Downtown- Onsite- 5 days a weekIndustry: Oil and Gas -Midstream. The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.IT Project Manager manages the project life cycle of a project providing project leadership including defining project objectives and scope for each phase of the project, overseeing quality control throughout the project’s life cycle, acquiring resources, managing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects/products according to plan.Essential Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training RequiredResponsible for the successful management of projectsManages project life cycle from initiating through delivery and project closureManages the day-to-day activities of projects and project resourcesCreates, manages and tracks project documents including, but not limited to: project schedules, financials (budgets: estimates and actuals, forecasting, invoices), detailed project plans, scope documents, work breakdown structures, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issue logs and regular status reportingOrganizes, conducts and attends meetings with project team and stakeholders to facilitate all levels of project planningManages multiple projects concurrently: 10 + projectsWorks with project managers of other teams to ensure overall business and operational requirements are met for company initiativesLead steering committee meetings with IT and Business leadershipLead technical and requirements gathering sessions- bringing people and understanding togetherCommunicates and collaborates with internal and external customers as needed including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with stakeholdersWorks with third party integration teams to coordinate integration and testingPMI trained/educatedAgile/Scrum understanding/experienceManage developer resources across projectsManages Geographically dispersed xaygatp teamsPreferred Skills: PMP CertificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field3+ years of professional experiences in the management of IT infrastructure and operations projects or Applications & 3rd party software implementation project experience. A team player with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA strong desire for quality and attention to detail with excellent problem solving and organizational skillsDemonstrates leadership qualities include flexibility and adaptability to change
