Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines - Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and other components - Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and make necessary adjustments or repairs - Weld, suspend, assemble, and fabricate parts as needed - Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs - Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times Skills: - Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components - Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment - Familiarity with air brake systems and electrical systems - Experience with HVAC systems is a plus - Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication skills Requirements: - Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic is preferred - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Certification from a reputable Diesel Mechanic program is a plus - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we invite you to apply for this position.
