Sr. Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Accounting Lead to ensure timely and accurate period-end closings and financial disclosuresExecute and validate monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedulesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in the general ledgerDeliver analytical support to operations and manufacturing teams through ad-hoc reporting and recommendationsAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting packages and disclosuresStrong NetSuite experienceMulti-entity and international close experience Requirements:5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or audit functionsShow a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and period-end close processesApply knowledge of cost tracking and overhead allocation methodologiesCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support financial operationsUse financial systems and tools to support reporting accuracy and efficiency Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineBring experience working in global or cross-border corporate environmentsUnderstand financial workflows in production-based or technology-driven industriesMaintain and refine cost allocation methods for manufacturing operationsProvide guidance and technical support to accounting staff and clerical personnel REF#50665
