Our mission is to help homeowners make their homes more comfortable and sustainable while reducing energy costs.\nDescription\nDescription\nThis is an entry-level, hands-on role: you'll spend your days in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all types of weather, helping complete residential insulation and energy-efficiency projects through the Mass Save program. No insulation experience is required — but a reliable and good work-ethic is.\n\nCompensation\n$18–$25/hr, based on experience.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nAssist experienced installers with residential insulation and weatherization projects\nHelp install insulation materials\nAssist with air sealing, ventilation, and other energy-efficiency improvements\nLoad, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment\nPrepare and clean job sites before and after each project\nOperate hand and power tools safely\nFollow all company safety procedures and quality standards\nKeep trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized\nWork closely with Crew Chiefs and other crew members to complete projects efficiently\nRepresent Forge professionally when interacting with homeowners\n\nQualifications & Preferred Experience\nNo prior insulation experience required but you need to be hard working and reliable\nConstruction, landscaping, roofing, moving, warehouse, manufacturing, or other hands-on labor experience is a plus\nDependable, eager to learn, and able to work well as part of a team\nReliable transportation and a valid driver's license required\nAuthorized to work in the U.S.\nAble to pass a background check and drug test (does not screen for marijuana)\nPhysical requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly; comfortable working in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces; able to climb ladders and work at heights; able to work in hot, cold, dusty, and physically demanding conditions\nLogistics\nService area: Eastern Massachusetts — you'll travel to job sites across this area daily in your own vehicle.\nSchedule: Consistent, full-time work, year-round.\nTools & vehicle: Forge provides tools and equipment for jobs, and crew chiefs have trucks.
