The Packager I ensures all shipping orders are accurately and efficiently processed to customer requirements.Work is performed under general supervision.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesWork closely with customer service to ensure customer satisfactionPicking of inventory to accurately fulfill ordersVerify shipping instructions and shipper packet informationEffectively package finished products manually, or using various packaging equipment, in order of importance based on provided dashboardsStocking of supply ordersAlways adheres to company safety standardsAlways maintains security and confidentiality of all filesQualificationsAdditional eligibility qualifications: Dependable and independent workerAbility to follow directions and adhere to safety protocolsMust have an acceptable criminal history background checkMust pass a drug testPhysical DemandsMust be able to regularly lift and carry 20-pound itemsMust be able to occasionally lift and carry 50-pound itemsMust be able to access and navigate the production facilityMust be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spacesProlonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretchingPosition Type And Expected Hours Of WorkFull-time, Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 11:00pmMonday through Friday occasional Saturday, as neededAbility to work overtime is requiredWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.The work performed is in a warehouse environmentWorking around machinery with moving partsWorking in close proximity to othersMust be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
