Architect","description":"Roles and Responsibilities \r \r Define and design end-to-end compute architecture for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. \r Create High-Level Design (HLD) and guide Low-Level Design (LLD) for compute infrastructure solutions. \r Translate business and application requirements into scalable, resilient, and cost-effective technical designs. \r Architect cloud and hybrid compute platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. \r Lead cloud migration initiatives including lift & shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting strategies. \r Drive VMware to Kubernetes/OpenShift modernization and containerization initiatives. \r Design Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms including cluster sizing, scaling, and multi-region deployments. \r Define high availability, disaster recovery, failover, and self-healing infrastructure strategies. \r Lead automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and standard templates. \r Perform capacity planning, workload optimization, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps). \r Ensure secure compute configurations, OS hardening, IAM integration, and compliance adherence. \r \r Required Skills \r \r Strong expertise in compute architecture and infrastructure design. \r Hands-on experience with: \r \r GCP cloud compute services \r Kubernetes / OpenShift architecture \r VMware virtualization platforms \r Rubrik backup solutions \r IBM Storage \r AIX systems \r Active Directory \r \r \r Strong knowledge of: \r \r Hybrid cloud architecture \r Cloud migration strategies \r HA/DR architecture \r Infrastructure automation and IaC \r Compute sizing and workload optimization \r \r \r Experience with VMware to OpenShift/Kubernetes migration programs. \r Strong understanding of security, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization. \r \r Preferred Skills \r \r Experience with AWS EC2, Azure VM/VMSS, and multi-cloud environments. \r Exposure to microservices-based platforms and container modernization. \r Experience with enterprise infrastructure governance and compliance. \r Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership
