Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:\nTechnical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.\nProject Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.\nEnterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.\nAgreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.\n\nDue to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).\n\nCapabilities:\nContributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents\nManages system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture\nAssists with the allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components\nCoordinates the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination\nPerform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.\nAssist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.\nPerform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288\nDevelop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.\nIndependently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.\nPerform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas\nAssist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue\nAssist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.\nAnalyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.\nSupervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.\nLead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians.\nApprove delivery of work products of multiple Processes Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.\nIndependently make decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for a project.\nBrief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nTS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Poly\nA High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience.\nOR\nA Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.\nOR\nA Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.\nOR\nA PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.\n\nRequired Technical Skills:\nExperience with: Defense Acquisition Systems, DoDAF or FEAF, Technical skills in CAMEO Systems Modeler and SysML, and ISO/IEC 15288 process areas experience.\n\nSalary Range: $210,000.00 - $225,000.00 (Annually)\nAnnual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; annual hours worked; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.\n\nBenefits Package:\nItezz Inc. believes in generously supporting employees as they prepare for retirement.
