Using state-of-the-art sheetfed offset, narrow-web flexographic, die-cutting, and folder/gluer equipment, our team delivers exceptional quality in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.\nPosition Summary\nQuad is seeking experienced Folder/Gluer Operators to join our Spartanburg manufacturing team.\nIn this role, you will set up and operate folder/gluer equipment to produce high-quality folding cartons and packaging products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the production process. You'll work alongside an experienced team using advanced finishing equipment to deliver products for nationally recognized brands.\nExperience operating Bobst folder/gluer equipment is highly preferred. Candidates with experience operating other folder/gluer equipment are encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do\nPrepare machines for production by reviewing job documentation, verifying specifications, and setting up equipment.\nSet up and operate folder/gluer equipment to produce products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.\nMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.\nDirect and support team members during production runs as needed.\nPerform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.\nComplete quality inspections throughout production to ensure customer satisfaction.\nPerform line clearance by removing completed products, materials, and waste to prepare for the next job.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow all company safety policies, quality standards, and PPE requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrevious folder/gluer machine operating experience is required.\nExperience operating Bobst folder/gluer equipment is highly preferred; candidates with experience on other folder/gluer equipment are encouraged to apply.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to prioritize quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to interpret job orders, production sheets, work instructions, and customer specifications.\nBasic computer skills.\nAbility to accurately perform basic math calculations.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to communicate equipment issues to teammates and leadership.\nAbility to work an 8-hour overnight shift, with overtime and holidays as required.\nAbility to lift 10–15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\nWhy Quad?\nAt Quad, you'll do more than operate equipment—you'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement.
