{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ea5a371fb1ab8451937917a4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ea5a371fb1ab8451937917a4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ea5a371fb1ab8451937917a4","title":"Engineering Facilities Technician","description":"Loyal Source is looking for skilled Engineering Facilities Technicians to work on a contract at Vandenburg SFB.\n\nClient Job Description\nPay: $65.00/hr\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform repairs, preventative and emergency maintenance for all facilities equipment including various electrical and mechanical systems\nComplete documentation including logbooks, work orders, and purchase requisitions\nAccomplish preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities support systems\nDevelop processes and system procedures to ensure 24/7 operation with minimal down time\nPerform cleanroom cleaning in accordance with a contamination control plan\nOccasionally participate in on-call rotation and work extended hours, if required\nMake recommendations for operational improvement for facility systems\nFollow Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.\nExecute testing of critical facility systems.\nSetup and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of critical facility systems under simulated operating conditions, record result and provide data/quality records at project reviews.\nPerform operations and maintenance tasks that encompass the maintenance, repair, and operation of the critical facilities systems utilized during spacecraft processing.\n\nQualifications:\nActive TS/SCI clearance\nHigh School diploma and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.\nCommunicate both orally and written in a clear and concise manner\nRead, understand, and work from Standard Operating Procedures, electrical drawings, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)\nAble to supervise contractors and vendors performing work in the facility as needed\nCapable of walking and moving around job site\nPlease note: this position is notional and contingent upon the award of a government contract.\n\nAbout Notional Opportunities:\nNotional opportunities are roles in the planning stages and contingent on contract awards.
