The position is responsible for the operations, programming, and maintenance of 2D flatbed laser cutting equipment.\nEssential Job Functions:\nOperating and maintaining TRUMPF 2D laser equipment\nMaterial handling ? loading and unloading sheet metal with forklifts and cranes\nProgramming and setting up TRUMPF 2D laser equipment ? make manual adjustments for cut quality and change cutting paths, troubleshooting\nDocument in-process jobs\nShear/trim sheet metal\nDo surface plate layouts with a variety of inspection tools\nChanging tech tables for better cut conditions\nFollow all safety procedures\nQualifications:\nEDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED, vocational training\nCREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None\nMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years manufacturing experience\nPosition Type and Expected Hours:\nThis is a full-time non-exempt position with a minimum of 40hrs / week with overtime as needed. Note: days and hours required may vary.\nShifts include 1st , 7:00a ? 3:30p M-F 2nd, 3:30p ? 2:00a, M-TH and Weekend Days 5:00a ? 5:30p F-Sun\nTravel:\nNo travel is required for this position.\nMinimum Physical Expectations:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nMinimum Environmental Expectations:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to manufacturing processes that include and are not limited to; fumes or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, moving mechanical parts, industrial equipment, and vibration.
