This is a rare opportunity to take a breakthrough energy platform from development through validation, productization, and deployment.You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization and work closely with executive leadership to translate bold technical vision into safe, manufacturable, commercially viable systems.What You’ll OwnDefine and lead the company’s engineering strategy, roadmap, and execution prioritiesBuild and scale a world-class engineering organization across systems, mechanical, electrical, thermal, software/controls, materials, safety, and product engineeringDrive end-to-end product development from architecture and design through prototyping, testing, validation, and production readinessEstablish engineering operating rhythms, KPIs, technical reviews, and decision-making frameworks that improve speed, quality, and accountabilityPartner cross-functionally with operations, regulatory/compliance, supply chain, business development, and executive leadershipLead risk identification, trade studies, and mitigation planning for highly complex, safety-critical systemsEnsure engineering outputs support quality, traceability, manufacturability, and long-term scalabilityBuild a culture of technical excellence, high integrity, operational rigor, and safety-first leadershipSupport external technical engagement with government stakeholders, strategic partners, research organizations, and investorsWhat You’ll DoStrategic LeadershipSet the long-term engineering vision in alignment with company growth goalsTranslate market and mission needs into scalable system architectures and technical execution plansServe as a senior technical voice with executives, partners, and external stakeholdersPrioritize investments across teams, programs, and platform development milestonesEngineering ExecutionLead integrated development of complex hardware systems in a highly regulated environmentOversee design reviews, verification/validation plans, system integration, and development milestonesImplement strong systems engineering, configuration management, and documentation practicesDrive performance across schedule, technical maturity, cost targets, and product readinessSafety, Quality, and ComplianceEmbed a disciplined engineering culture grounded in safety, reliability, and qualityPartner with internal and external experts to support compliance, licensing, and technical documentationEnsure engineering processes meet the standards expected in mission-critical industriesProductization and ScaleDrive design-for-manufacturability and smooth transition from prototype to productionPartner with operations and supply chain on supplier qualification, manufacturability, and cost-down strategiesBuild the systems, team structure, and processes needed to scaleWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required;
