The position offers strong technical depth, multi-functional collaboration, and direct impact on future memory technology.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and optimize thin film deposition processes for advanced DRAM\nPerform process characterization, solving issues, and defect reduction\nDrive thin film roadmap activities aligned to future technology nodes\nCollaborate with teams and suppliers to mature tools and materials\nAnalyze physical and electrical data to guide process decisions\nMinimum Qualifications:\nPhD or MS or equivalent experience with 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience in a related field\nStrong foundation in process science including thermodynamics or transport phenomena\nExperience designing and analyzing experiments using DOE\nAbility to work independently and across multi-functional teams\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing thin films for EUV patterning applications\nBackground with surface analysis techniques such as XPS, AFM, XRD, or SIMS\nExperience with ALD, CVD, PECVD, or related deposition processes\nKnowledge of SPC and process maturity for manufacturing\nExperience Bringing to bear Artificial Intelligence for data analysis or process development\nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$107,000.00 - $182,000.00 a year\nAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
