We listen, we educate, and we stand behind our work-because our success is built on the people who depend on us.Position SummaryThe Heavy-Duty Injector Technician is responsible for the hands-on remanufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy-duty diesel injectors. This role supports production efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction by performing work accurately, safely, and in accordance with company standards, technical specifications, and departmental expectations.Essential Duties / Key ResponsibilitiesPerform remanufacturing and service on heavy-duty diesel injector systems, including Caterpillar (CAT), Cummins ISX15, ISL, Celect, and ISX mechanical injectors.Operate and maintain injector test stands and specialized shop equipment to ensure proper calibration and functionality.Troubleshoot injector and fuel system component issues during remanufacturing and testing.Ensure all work meets quality standards and remanufacturing specifications.Complete production orders accurately and within established cycle times to meet throughput goals.Accurately report labor hours and production data through the time clock and ERP systems.Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and proper handling of unbuilt materials and unused components.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to departmental standards.Monitor and report on the need for shop supplies, PPE, and critical consumables.Participate in technical training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.Perform other related duties as assigned.Core Values / Behavioral ExpectationsEmployees in this role are expected to work in alignment with Industrial Injection's Core Values and Behavioral ExpectationsSafety FirstSafety is a fundamental responsibility of every employee. Employees are expected to meet quality standards and specifications, inspect work for accuracy and completeness, follow technical processes, maintain tools and equipment, and prioritize doing the job right over speed when necessary.Respect & TeamworkEmployees are expected to contribute to a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment by communicating appropriately, working collaboratively, following direction from supervisors, and maintaining a team-first mindset.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GED preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and service data.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work safely and effectively in a production shop environment.Preferred:Experience in diesel, mechanical, manufacturing, remanufacturing, or closely related technical work preferred.Strong technical background in heavy-duty diesel injectors.Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for tracking production orders is preferred.Physical Demands / Work EnvironmentRegularly required to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.Frequently required to use hands for handling tools, parts, and small components.Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and squatting may be required.Must be able to lift and move parts, tools, and materials up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.Work is performed in a shop environment with exposure to noise, oils, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and other industrial conditions.Required to wear appropriate PPE and comply with all safety requirements.Schedule / Overtime ExpectationsStandard schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.DisclaimerThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this position.
