Specifically, this position has responsibility over the thermal treatment of MOV disks in the production process and will train/rotate into other MOV jobs. Incumbents must maintain standards of quality, production, and safety; complies with all company policies and works as part of a team to ensure that daily goals are met. This position is responsible for critical equipment that runs 24/7 and must work weekends and holidays (per schedule). Individuals will be responsible to find coverage for scheduled work days.\n\nSafety:\nResponsible for following all safety policies and procedures, complying with JSA’s, wearing proper PPE, complying with the production attire policy, and assuring that the work cell has safe equipment and no risk is placed on their coworkers or themselves.\nAny safety issue identified should be reported immediately to supervisor or manager.\nGeneral cleaning of shop areas and personal 5S/industrial housekeeping responsibility.\n\nProduction:\nWorks under limited supervision to set up and operate assigned equipment (including but not limited to Kilns, material handling system, presses, metalizer and weigh batch).\nTests, records, and interprets required data utilizing multiple computers systems.\nResponsible for troubleshooting, resolving most issues and difficulties, and periodic quality, product and equipment checks (including but not limited to: thermocouples, heating elements, furniture, and equipment settings). Escalates extreme difficulties to supervisor or manager.\nPerforms equipment changeovers when changing disk types. Performs preventative maintenance on kilns and other equipment.\nMaintains quality standards consistent with the Eaton’s Quality Policy. Visually inspects components and products. Takes ownership of the recognition and communication of quality and production issues.\nSafely uses powered industrial truck to move and load materials.\n#IND123\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.\nMinimum one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position.
