Method Hospitality is looking for a FOH Manager to join the team at the The Quoin boutique hotel in the heart of Wilmington, DE. The restaurant design has been melded with design features and fixtures from local makers that reflect the building’s original era, features a dining room adorned with warm wood accents, plush upholstered banquets, an illuminating ceiling design, and features an open kitchen showcasing a wood-fired oven & grill focusing on Mediterranean-influenced, wood-fired cuisine that emphasizes the smokiness and char of the wood burning oven & grill. Day-to-Day Management Manage, lead and mentor floor Managers and Staff Ensure service is maintained at the utmost of quality levels Develop risk management and mitigation strategies Represent the GM in investigating, answering, and settling grievances in absence of General Manager Maintain all corporate mandates Staffing and Team Development Analyze staffing requirements, develop iteration plans, and assess opportunities for future growth Interview, screen, and recruit job applicants Responsible for Team performance – morale, productivity Ensure service is maintained at the utmost of quality levels QUALIFICATIONS/PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum 1-3 years professional experience in management Strong management skills Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative solution generation skills General business acumen Expert knowledge of all Restaurant computer systems Able to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leader Finds problem areas, develops solutions, and gets the job done Able to delegate effectively Able to work long hours standing and walking BENEFITS Full comprehensive affordable medical benefits including Health, Vision, Dental, Life and much more!
