This organization operates across international markets and is committed to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that help customers improve operational efficiency and environmental impact.In this role, you will support the global financial consolidation process, with a strong focus on Latin America and Asia Pacific markets. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and collaborating with international stakeholders.Job DescriptionThe Consolidation Accountant is responsible for supporting global financial consolidation, reporting, and analytical activities. This role works closely with international subsidiaries and corporate finance teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with accounting standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, monitor, and validate monthly and quarterly financial statements submitted by international subsidiaries, particularly in Latin America and Asia Pacific regionsAnalyze and validate supplemental financial data across global entitiesResearch and respond to inquiries from international teams regarding reporting submissions and accounting questionsPerform accounting analysis related to intercompany transactions, extraordinary items, and consolidation processesEnsure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal policies, and regulatory requirementsMaintain and continuously improve consolidation processes, procedures, and documentationBuild and maintain strong partnerships with country controllers, local accounting teams, and corporate finance stakeholdersProvide cross-training and support to team members within the consolidation functionAssist with special projects and initiatives as assignedQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principlesExperience with financial consolidation and reporting processesAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, global environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across international teamsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systemsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with multinational organizations or global accounting teamsExposure to Latin America and/or Asia Pacific financial operationsFamiliarity with consolidation systems or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar)CPA or progress toward certificationExperience improving or streamlining financial processesBenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family's needs.
