We’re looking for an experienced Structural Drafter to join our Civil and Environmental Resources team. In this full-time role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and architects to deliver precise, constructible designs for a variety of industrial, municipal, and renovation projects.\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure and environmental projects, while continuing to grow your technical expertise and leadership skills within a supportive, team-focused environment. If you thrive on solving complex design challenges and want to play a key role in shaping resilient, sustainable structures, we’d love to hear from you.\nRole and Responsibilities\nResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nPrepares the necessary structural drawings for items to be constructed in the field using Autocad. All drawings must be done according to company standards.\nPrepare layouts to determine detailed dimensions and check clearances.\nCoordinates the structural designs with the other disciplines to avoid potential conflicts.\nReviews the dimensional data on vendor information and makes necessary changes to the design drawings.\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nTechnical Trade School diploma in relevant field\n5+ years of experience in structural drafting\nHands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and/or Revit, strongly preferred. Candidates without direct experience must demonstrate the ability and willingness to complete training and develop proficiency necessary to perform essential job functions.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nPreferred Skills (Nice to Have)\nExperience working with a consulting firm preferred\nMunicipal water/wastewater and industrial and/or building renovation experience preferred\nProduces record drawings when requested.\nPerforms other miscellaneous duties as requested, i.e. performs construction observation, and goes into the field to obtain dimensions for design projects.\nReviews structural shop drawings with minimal supervision.\nAdditional notes\nThis position provides opportunity for growth, and leadership for the right candidate.\nA generous sign-on bonus is available upon hire.\nEntech Engineering, Inc.
