Broken Clock Brewing is hiring bartenders to work in our new taproom at 1712 Marshall St NE. We are hiring for both Part-Time (20+ hours), and Full-Time (30+ Hours). We are located on the 827 bus route. No experience necessary.

Who we are looking for:
Enthusiastic, outgoing beertender to meet our growing customer base as well as our members’ expectations, and to continue to attract new members and to fulfill our promise to all our customers, the ideal candidate’s availability will have some combination of weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Not experienced? That’s ok, please don’t let that stop you. Even the greatest beertender had to start somewhere.
Job Duties
Engage with customers in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner ID all customers, and introduce them to current beverages on tap
Serve customers with their choices of beer and beverages
Maintain cleanliness of taproom, bar, and outdoor spaces
Collaborate with peers and leaders to maintain a welcoming and clean taproom
Manage inventory and stock bar with all items needed
Communicate with other staff members and leader on Duty
Busing tables, and anticipating guests’ demands
Live and promote Broken Clock Co-Op values
Maintain & promote a safe and respectful environment
Introduce customers to our Co-Op, our story, and our vision
Foster inclusiveness, and respect for our differences
Work Environment
This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee will be required to follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment, and mitigate potential exposure to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, burns, and chemicals.
Pay:
Part-time $16.47 per hour

Job Requirements:
Age: 21 years old, or above
Multitask, and communicate effectively
Follow health and safety guidelines such as frequent hand washing.
Lifting 65 lbs. with reasonable accommodation
Prior experience with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus
Ability to report to work on time
Prior Server and beer service experience is a plus
Knowledge of Craft beer industry is a plus
