If youre motivated, dependable, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!\r\nSummary:\r\nThe Material Handler provides support to the production associates by receiving, dispensing, and accurately maintaining inventory in the vertical storage units and on the shop floor.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.\r\nMaintains a safe, clean and organized work area.\r\nUtilize the ERP system for all transactions.\r\nAssists with maintaining inventory levels for vertical storage units (VSU). Reports any unplanned issues to Team Leader.\r\nPull together all non-floor stock components that are in the VSU for work orders. This will include printing any labels that are needed.\r\nReceives hardware into the VSU unit placement is in proper storeroom location and sequence, such as size, type, style, color, and product code.\r\nConsults with Team Leader or Crew Leader on work orders and job orders for the delivery of hardware and ensures its in proper sequence for the production associates.\r\nAssures an accurate inventory level by correctly back flushing work orders with the correct material quantities and part numbers.\r\nUtilizes fork truck, carts other approved methods to transport materials between departments.\r\nPerform cycle counts on products and materials.\r\nAdditional duties may be assigned as required.\r\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :\r\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\r\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\r\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\r\nMust possess basic math skills.\r\nMust have a valid drivers license\r\n1 year of forklift experience.\r\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\r\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret the English language.\r\nAssociate must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\r\nFrequent use of hands that comes with the use of tools.?\r\nAgility of the upper and lower body extremities with the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, or stoop.?\r\nAbility to stand for long periods of time.?\r\nCapable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.\r\nAdditional Job Information:\r\nThe environment is active and fast-paced, with fabrication and production operating throughout the day.
