Supervises the Materials department’s Team Leaders and Material Handlers.\nREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:\nAssociates degree in related field.\nMinimum two (2) years supervisory and progressive experience in related field.\nExperience in a warehouse environment including shipping, transportation, and/or distribution preferred\nLead, manage, and motivate personnel.\nTeam oriented and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.\nDetail oriented and excellent documentation skills.\nWorking knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines.\nSolid understanding and experience in Lean Manufacturing.\nExcellent problem-solving skills in order to perform job duties independently and make decisions that meet departmental goals and objectives.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication/negotiation skills in order to perform job duties in an appropriate manner. Must be able to independently research and recommend new processes, technology enhancements, etc.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and changing priorities.\nProject management and leadership skills to lead, manage, and prioritize issues for a broad range of processes, teams, and/or skill areas or a large group of employees.\nExcellent team facilitation, leadership, and motivation skills.
