About the Opportunity:The Data Analyst IV - Advanced Analytics & Reporting plays a key role in providing advanced data analysis and operational decision support. This position delivers actionable insights through complex data queries, predictive modeling, and reporting to inform internal teams. It also contributes to improving data quality, developing analytical tools, and mentoring junior analysts. The role directly supports the organization’s mission by enhancing data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.3. Responsibilities:• Perform advanced SQL analysis to identify trends and drivers• Develop predictive and trend analyses for operational planning• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations• Create reusable analytical methods to improve efficiency• Design and execute data validation, reconciliation, and quality audits• Establish and document data quality standards and criteria• Collaborate with teams to resolve data quality issues• Monitor key data quality indicators and support improvements• Develop and maintain Power BI models, dashboards, and reports• Provide clear data narratives and written summaries for stakeholders• Implement Power Automate workflows to streamline reporting processes• Support self-service analytics ensuring accuracy and usability• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines across platforms• Collaborate on data modeling and performance tuning• Contribute to future analytics solutions including Databricks readiness• Mentor and review work of lower-level analysts• Share best practices in SQL, data modeling, validation, and visualization• Assist with onboarding and skill development of analysts4. Requirements:• Advanced proficiency in SQL including complex queries and performance tuning• Experience with Power BI including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development• Skills in designing and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines• Experience using Power Automate for operational workflows• Strong knowledge of data quality, validation, and reconciliation practices• Ability to perform predictive and trend analyses aligned with business needs• Clear communication of complex technical information to non-technical audiences• Attention to detail, data integrity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills• Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, developers, and program staff• Independent judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision• Experience in health and human services or government/public sector environments• Knowledge of Snowflake and cross-platform SQL environments (SQL Server, Oracle)• Skills with R, Python, SPSS, and advanced Excel• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), IIBA Certification in Business Data Analytics (CBDA), and DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Salary range: $5,425.33 - $7,155.75 monthly6.
