Back End Developer

WE’RE HIRING: SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER(Marketplace / Booking Systems, Stripe Connect

We’re building KidHive — a two-sided marketplace for booking kids’ classes and activities — and are looking for a senior backend engineer to help us get to a clean, reliable pilot launh.

A development team is already in place with much of the UI/UX and initial backend built. This role will work alongside the team to refine and stabilize the core architecue.
 
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
• Design and improve scheduling logic (recurring → session genration)
• Ensure reliable booking & capacity management (prevent ovebooking)
• Implement or review Stripe Connect payment flows (commissions payouts)
• Review and simplify existing backend acitecture
 
IDEL EXPERIENCE
• Built marketplaces or booing platforms
• Strong backend & databas design skills
• Hands-on experience wit Stripe Connect
• Familiarity with scheduling / calenar-based systems
• Experience with or familirty usin Base44
