Candidate will provide senior-level technical leadership for the architecture, development, integration, and operation of complex healthcare applications and cloud solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and guidance of technical resources to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient systems.\n\n*Required Qualifications of the Lead Software Architect / Developer:*\n\n* Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.\n* 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, application development, and technical architecture.\n* Advanced degree and/or highly relevant professional certifications.\n* Extensive experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud applications using distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.\n* Strong healthcare technology experience, including recent work with healthcare applications and EHR platforms.\n* Deep experience with cloud architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure, with AWS or GCP experience also valued.\n* Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or comparable technologies, along with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.\n* Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes and strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development.\n* Experience with relational and distributed data technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Databricks, along with production observability, security, monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing.\n* Demonstrated ability to use generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and solution development while maintaining strong engineering judgment and technical ownership.\n\n*Preferred Skills/Experience of the Lead Software Architect / Developer:*\n\n* Epic certification, particularly recent experience supporting Epic environments.\n* Experience with Grafana, Azure Application Insights, Azure Log Analytics, and OpenTelemetry.\n* Experience building or integrating generative AI-enabled applications.\n* Proven experience providing technical leadership across multiple levels of engineering resources.\n\n*Responsibilities of the Lead Software Architect / Developer:*\n\n* Lead the architecture and technical design of secure, scalable, highly available enterprise applications and cloud solutions.\n* Translate functional requirements and business objectives into practical technical architectures and implementation plans.\n* Develop, configure, test, debug, and support software applications while contributing hands-on engineering expertise as needed.\n* Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews while establishing engineering standards and promoting consistency across development teams.\n* Guide and collaborate with technical resources across multiple levels to support high-quality delivery and effective problem solving.\n* Create and maintain technical, system, architecture, and operational documentation while ensuring solutions are designed for reliable production operation.\n\n*Work Location:* Remote.
