The ideal candidate will have experience building and supporting data pipelines, integrating data from internal and external sources, and optimizing data processing for analytics and business applications. This role requires strong Azure data engineering, programming, and SQL skills in an Agile development environment.\n\nDescription\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure cloud-native services.\nIntegrate data from internal and external systems into Azure data platforms.\nDevelop ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services.\nBuild and optimize batch and streaming data processing pipelines using Databricks or Apache Spark.\nWrite complex SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis.\nPerform root cause analysis and troubleshoot data pipeline and integration issues.\nMonitor, maintain, and enhance existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.\nFollow CI/CD, security best practices, coding standards, and SDLC processes.\n\nRequirements\n\n3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud-native technologies.\n2+ years of experience building ETL/data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Databricks, or Apache Spark.\nExperience with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, and Azure Cache for Redis.\nExperience with Airflow or Oozie for workflow orchestration.\nStrong Python or Java programming and SQL skills.\nExperience with batch and streaming data pipelines, CSV/JSON/XML data formats, and Agile development.\nKnowledge of CI/CD, SDLC, security, and coding best practices.\nExperience with Azure cloud migration projects.\nMicrosoft Azure certification is a plus.\n\nCompany Overview:\n\nBaer provides best-in-class engagement experiences for our consultants.
