Electrical Technician (Industrial) - Plattsburgh, NYPay: $35.70/hour (Union - non-negotiable, increase to $36.77 in August)Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 rotating scheduleWe are seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician to join a growing packaging manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to support continuous production in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipmentPerform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machineryTroubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems as neededBend, run, and install conduit in an industrial settingRead and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsEnsure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO proceduresDocument maintenance activities and support continuous improvement effortsQualifications:3+ years of industrial maintenance or electrical experienceStrong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systemsExperience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), VFDs, and motorsAbility to use a multimeter and work with high-voltage equipment safelyExperience bending and installing conduitKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferredMust have own toolsWhy Join:Competitive union pay and structured progressionStable manufacturing environmentExposure to advanced industrial equipmentConsistent, predictable schedule
