School Year - Academic Interventionist

Academic Interventionist The Academic Interventionist provides targeted instructional support to students who are performing below grade level in reading, writing, and/or mathematics. Working closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators, the interventionist uses data to identify student needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and deliver small-group or one-on-one instruction. The interventionist monitors student progress, adjusts instruction based on data, and communicates regularly with families and staff to support student growth and success. This role requires a strong understanding of elementary curriculum, differentiated instruction, and effective intervention strategies.Requirements:Valid Certification for Elementary Education preferredValid NJ Certification for Elementary School Teacher Grades K-6Three or more years proven teaching experiencePractical knowledge of Multisensory Reading MethodsDemonstrated ability to analyze student dataSalary commensurate upon experience and according to the River Edge Association Salary Guide.
