You'll be the person production runs through — accountable for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, with the authority to make real decisions in the moment.\nIt's a high-volume, high-mix metal fabrication environment, which means no two days look the same. You'll work directly with plant leadership and partner across Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to keep operations moving, while driving continuous improvement initiatives that actually get implemented.\nThis is also a people-development role. You'll train, coach, and manage a team of hourly production employees, with real input into their growth and performance — not just their schedules.\n\nWhy This Opportunity Is Different:\nUnlike supervisory roles where you're buried in administrative tasks, this one keeps you on the floor and close to the work. You'll have direct access to plant leadership, real exposure to cross-functional projects, and a genuine voice in continuous improvement — not just execution of someone else's plan. It's a stable, established operation with room to grow into broader plant leadership over time.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\nOwn daily production outcomes across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.\nExecute production schedules and keep workflow, staffing, and equipment running at full efficiency.\nBuild a culture of safety accountability and consistent quality on the floor.\nSpot and resolve production issues before they escalate, looping in leadership when needed.\nDrive continuous improvement — reducing waste and improving process efficiency.\nPartner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to keep operations moving.\nTrain, coach, and develop hourly employees into stronger performers.\nManage attendance, scheduling, and shift coverage for your team.\nLead performance conversations and provide input on development and discipline.\nKeep production reporting and documentation accurate and current.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus.\nMinimum of three years of manufacturing experience.\nDirect experience supervising hourly production employees.\nComfort operating in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.\nWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.\nExperience with production reporting systems; SAP experience a plus.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.\n\nCompensation & Work Model:\nCompensation is competitive and will be discussed during the screening process.
