This role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while facilitating smooth operations and construction activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in navigating complex regulatory environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist in obtaining and renewing permits, licenses, and approvals required for construction, operations, and special events at LA28 venues.\n\nMaintain accurate records of all permit documentation and ensure timely renewals.\n\nCoordinate with city, county, and state agencies to ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.\n\nSupport Sr. Permit Manager in tracking permit deadlines, submissions, and approvals.\n\nPrepare reports and presentations summarizing permit status and compliance issues for management.\n\nCollaborate with venue operations, construction, and facilities teams to identify permit needs for upcoming projects.\n\nMonitor regulatory changes and provide recommendations to ensure ongoing compliance.\n\nServe as a point of contact for internal teams and external authorities regarding permit-related inquiries.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 3+years of experience in permit management, facilities, or construction administration.\n\nKnowledge of local and state permitting requirements, building codes, and regulatory compliance.\n\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAvailable to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office\n\nThe majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.\n\nThe LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.\n\nSite visits requiring movement around varying environmental conditions in interior and exterior spaces\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience in large-scale venue, stadium, or event management projects.\n\nFamiliarity with LA municipal permitting processes.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\n\nThe annual base hourly range for this position is $30.35 - $35.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
