We take pride in our team’s role in making products that make a difference.Join our team as a Documentation Specialist 1, where you will support document control and quality compliance within the medical device industry.The pay range for this role is $19 - $22 an hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other candidate qualifications.What Nortech Offers:Competitive compensationOutstanding benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance for employee & family, including a 100% company-paid base medical plan for employees; 401k with company match; tuition reimbursement and PTOA diverse and inclusive workplace fostering responsible social engagementTraining and opportunity for advancementWhy Milaca?Milaca offers what many manufacturing leaders increasingly value:Short commutes and no metro congestionA lower cost of living without sacrificing professional impactA tight‑knit team culture where your leadership is visible and valuedProximity to St. Cloud and the Twin CitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesComplete routine tasks with guidance and clear direction.Review and maintain customer documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Support engineering changes (ECRs) and ensure accuracy of released documents.Maintain quality records and controlled documents per company procedures.Assist with audits, reports, and inspection documentation.Communicate updates with internal teams and support customer documentation needs.Participate in meetings, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.What We’re Looking ForThree months of experience:Accurately reading, reviewing and interpreting complex technical documentation.Using electronic devices to enter, maintain, and update technical information in a timely and accurate manner.Performing tasks requiring strong accuracy and attention to detail.Performing effectively as part of a team, including regular communication using verbal, written, and electronic/digital formats.Basic proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry, and related software tools.Education & BackgroundRequired:One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent relevant experience.Preferred:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year technical college.One year of experience as described above.Experience working with engineering documentation in a medical device, aerospace, defense, or similar high tech manufacturing environment.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
