Estimator","description":"The cabling estimator is responsible for assessing project requirements, analyzing specifications, and providing accurate cost estimates for structured cabling projects.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nReview drawing, specifications, and all other construction documents to understand project requirements.\r\nPerform site visits to gather relevant information about existing infrastructure, requirements, and potential challenges.\r\nLog project information in CRM.\r\nRespond to bid specifications, write detailed and concise scope of work, develop cost estimates, predict duration of the project.\r\nPrepare detailed cost estimates, including labor hours, material costs, and equipment expenses, and any other related expenses.\r\nCreate and submit proposals, including cost breakdowns, technical specs, and supporting documentation.\r\nParticipate in scope review/leveling meetings with clients.\r\nParticipate in project meetings with clients and estimating team.\r\nInteract with vendors to secure best pricing.\r\nParticipate in handoff meetings with the operations team to explain job scope, potential areas of attention, and other aspects to ensure a successful transition of the project.\r\nPrice change orders in coordination with operations department.\r\nStay informed about current trends and technological advancements in our industry.\r\nQualifications\r\n3+ years of overall structured cabling commercial integration industry estimating projects.\r\nExperience and knowledge of cabling/ low voltage industry experience.\r\nAbility to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and various estimating software.\r\nHighly organized and self-managed with the ability to keep consistent workflow moving through estimating department.\r\nAbility to build rapports with teammates, clients,\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\nMust
