Back End Software Engineer

Pointer Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. A back end software engineer will be expected to design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. These systems might include, but are not limited to, processing­ intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of large data sets, real-time systems, business management information systems, and systems which incorporate data repositories, data transport services, and application and systems development and monitoring.The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, a solid understanding of software engineering concepts, and a desire to grow as a technical professional.
