Makes and oversees the assignments of drivers, jump start/battery operators and push truck operators in promoting a smooth flow of traffic through the auctioning process.\r\nConduct inspection of support equipment for proper working order\r\nConduct pre-sale meeting with drivers identifying driver return routes, overflow areas, plan changes, etc.\r\nConduct presale walk to ensure vehicles are in assigned lane as scheduled\r\nIdentify and address missing vehicles, overflow areas, inoperable vehicles and other issues\r\nMaintain the run list indicating vehicles with no keys, late vehicle entries, and/or late number changes\r\nRespond to customer and dealer inquiries and concerns\r\nCoordinate and direct vehicle movement to maintain continuous flow of traffic to the block\r\nOversee parking sold vehicles and re-parking non-sold vehicles\r\nReport theft, lot damage, or any safety concerns to management\r\nQualifications Minimum High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.\r\nOR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.\r\nOR 5 years' experience in a related field\r\n\"Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.\"\r\nAbility to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.\r\nBasic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles.)\r\nPreferred 6 months of auction or driving experience preferred.\r\nKnowledge of lot operations/lot layout preferred.\r\nKnowledge of LDM preferred.\r\nPhysical Requirements Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\r\nAbility to stand for prolonged periods of time.\r\nAbility to lift 1-15 pounds.\r\nMust be able to walk long distances.\r\nWork Environment Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level (100% outdoors)\r\nMonday - Friday, 7a-3:30p\r\nSome weekly overtime\r\nDrug Testing To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
