We proudly serve thousands of customers from our global headquarters in Vancouver, Washington and our new manufacturing factory in Houston, Texas.\n\nAt Premier you will work on all aspects of pump and industrial manufacturing as part of a mechanical team consisting of entry-level, mid-level and senior mechanics. You will learn every aspect of chassis, engine and industrial assembly, contributing and building your mechanical skills. You will prepare with appropriate tools and safety equipment, take instructions and be a team player.\n\nYou will report to the Assembly Supervisor.\n\nThis is a full-time position located in Spring, Texas.\n\nResponsibilities\nSupport and maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the facility\nAssist with aspects of pump and package manufacturing under the guidance of Lead Assemblers and the Assembly Supervisor\nCut, measure and torque materials as required\nUnderstand job instructions and complete required job paperwork and documentation in English\nCut chains, hoses and wires\nComplete battery sub-assemblies\nAssemble bolts, screws and wire harness assemblies on pump packages\nMove materials around the shop with a pallet jack and hand truck\nQualifications\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nAble to work 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday)\nMust have mechanical aptitude\nMust be able to read simple blueprints and other engineering documents from an iPad.\nWear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment\nAble and willing to work in both a warehouse and outdoor environment within different weather conditions\nFollow all company procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations\nPreferred: Able to provide personal tools to complete assigned tasks\nBenefits\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nRetirement Plan (401k) company matches up to 4% of employee contributions\nVacation (up to 40 hours Vacation time accrued per year in years 1-3, pro-rated in year 1 based on start date)\nPaid Sick Leave\n8 paid holidays per calendar year\n\nEmployment will be conditioned upon passing a drug screen and criminal background check.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment\n\nEmployees must be able to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
