You’ll participate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in an atmosphere where everyone is respected, included, appreciated, and rewarded for their skills and unique perspectives.\nWhat You Will Be Doing :\nLead a space segment study and development effort design to deliver an innovative solution to meet U.S. Government requirements for a resilient space system.\nDefine and design system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility\nDeliver on a fast-pace concept design and bench payload/hardware concept demonstration within first six months of contract execution to be followed by full scale design delivery and engineering development unit demonstrations within first 24 months.\nEngage in solution development for additional space systems solutions efforts.\nManage a geographically dispersed team that includes several teammates delivering payload elements and other components that support the mission.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring :\nUS Citizenship with DoD Security Clearance\nBachelor's Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or other STEM degree, with demonstrated experience in this mission domain\n10+ (12+ preferred) years of systems engineering experience in the defense industry (Master's degree can be replaced with required experience)\nStrong communications skills and capacity to engage with current and potential clients and stakeholders\nExperience with management of fixed price program delivery obligations that include both staff and subcontractor content.\nAbility and willingness to travel up to 20% possible\nThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :\nRecent/current experience in government or industry supporting space, aerospace, or related defense programs supporting national security clients.\nExperience with one or more engineering design and analysis tools such as MATLAB, System Toolkit, Solidworks, digital engineering, or analogous tools and understanding of digital engineering solution delivery objectives\nExperience in both the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) procurement and contract execution domain as well as the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) approach.\nEarned Value Management (EVM) experience.\nExperience with effective organizational skills and pursue/deliver solutions including space system, ground, and launch integration packages\nMinimum Clearance Required to Start:\nSecret\nThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.\nOur Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
