Dining Room / Bar Manager
Join our team at Silo Brunch Bar, a vibrant and bustling dining establishment, as the Front of House Manager. We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the seamless operation of our front-of-house services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient service delivery.
Hours vary, but expect to close 5 days a week and every weekend is a must (of course, time off aside). On busy days expect to be at the restaurant until 5-6pm at the latest. You may need to be at the restaurant as early as 6:30a in the morning on occasion. Sometimes special events may dictate later hours.
Expectations & Requirements:
- Prior Expo experience required
- Prior Bar experience required
- Prior Server experience required
- Prior Dining Room Management Required
- Prior Full Service Restaurant Management experience is required
- Prior drawer balancing / reconciliation experience is required
- May have to clean bathrooms, run food, bus tables, manage employees, mop floors, sweep, make drinks, wash dishes. Basically pitch in and get your hands dirty.
- Expect to host
- Expect to have to manage guest issues and reconciliation with difficult guests. This is absolutely a deal-breaker.

Prior POS experience
Duties:
- Supervise front-of-house staff to maintain high service standards
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality control
- Coordinate shift schedules and manage staff assignments
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
- Utilize bartending skills as needed
- Implement effective inventory control measures
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in supervising roles within the food industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Familiarity with food safety protocols
- Ability to manage shifts effectively
- Strong understanding of food production processes
- Experience in bartending is a plus
- Skilled in inventory control techniques
