You will assist in evaluating the load resistance, stability, and performance of mechanical and structural systems. You will learn to apply fundamental engineering principles and support the development of design methods and tools.\n\nYou will work within a systems engineering team and collaborate with component engineers, sustaining engineers, and performance engineers. You will contribute to analysis, modeling, and testing activities under guidance from senior engineers.\n\nTypical work includes supporting system models, assisting with analysis using standard tools, and helping evaluate test results against analytical models.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nSupport development of engineering test plans for tracker systems and subsystems.\nAssist with data collection, analysis, and interpretation of test results.\nHelp correlate test data with engineering models to improve accuracy.\nOperate existing engineering tools and support updates or enhancements.\nAssist in performing mechanical and structural analysis using FEA or similar tools.\nContribute to development of models using basic principles of statics and dynamics.\nSupport optimization studies under direction of senior engineers.\nDocument results, assumptions, and findings clearly.\nCollaborate with cross functional teams to support product development.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.\n0 to 2 years of relevant experience, internship or academic project experience accepted.\nBasic understanding of statics, dynamics, and mechanical systems.\nExposure to FEA or simulation tools through coursework or internships.\nExposure to programming or scripting, such as Python, is preferred but not required.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\nAbility to follow structured processes and engineering procedures.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers.\nPreferred qualifications:\nInternship or project experience related to structural or mechanical analysis.\nExposure to renewable energy or solar technologies.\nFamiliarity with CAD tools or basic modeling techniques.\nInterest in learning simulation tools such as FEA or MBD.\n\nAt Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state.
