This role oversees daily production operations and ensures compliance with all company policies, food safety regulations, and USDA guidelines.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\nOversee and direct daily processing operations to ensure production goals, efficiency targets, and quality standards are achieved.\r\nEnsure all products are manufactured in compliance with USDA regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.\r\nEnforce all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.\r\nMonitor employee performance and provide coaching, direction, and corrective action as necessary\r\nEnsure proper staffing, line assignments, and workflow efficiency to meet production schedules.\r\nIdentify and address operational issues in real time to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.\r\nPromptly report all safety, quality, and food safety concerns and ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated.\r\nLead or support incident reporting and investigations, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company procedures.\r\nCoordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to support operational effectiveness.\r\nEnsure accurate documentation of production, safety, and compliance activities.\r\nMaintain clear and effective communication with employees and leadership regarding daily operations and issues.\r\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.\r\nOther responsibilities as assigned.Education & Experience:\r\nHigh school diploma or an equivalent GED; 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\nRequires 3-5 years of manufacturing, high speed packaging, or food manufacturing experience.\r\nRequires a minimum of two - five years successful leadership experience, with a proven track record of positive interaction and follow through with different level of the company.\r\nRequires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and perform metric conversions.\r\nRequires excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact with and provide work direction to employees.\r\nMust be certified in forklift operation. Ability to use other industrial equipment as needed.
