Somewhere right now there's a 28-year-old chief of staff at a fast-growing company whose founder has to be in three cities this week. They have never arranged any of it before and she is quietly panicking. Your job is to find them and be the person who makes the problem disappear.What you'll actually doThis is a hunting job. You go out and find the buyer — you don't wait for them to come to you.Show up in person. Industry events, mixers, and meetups where founders, chiefs of staff, and executive assistants actually gather. You work the room, make Met known, and walk out with names.Hunt inside the communities they live in. The online groups, forums, and private networks where our buyers swap notes and recommend vendors. You become a known, useful presence there — not a guy who shows up to pitch.Hunt inside LinkedIn. Get into the right conversations, slide into the right DMs, and reach the right person before any competitor does.Find the right companies at the right moment — when something just changed that makes them need us.Find the right person inside each one — usually an executive assistant or chief of staff, often 25–35 and new to the role.Write cold outreach that a sharp 30-year-old in tech actually replies to.Book conversations and hand off to our founder when a deal needs closing.It's a numbers game and a craft game, on the screen and in the room. You have to like all of it.Who you areYou're the buyer, basically. Our buyer is a sharp person who decides fast. You get them because you live in the same world — same internet, same instincts, same energy.You live in the same internet as our buyer. You read tech press for fun. You could name a few companies that raised big money this month without Googling.You write like a human. Your cold email sounds like a smart person who did their homework, not a template with a {{first_name}} in it.You're organized and you like a scoreboard. The role is measured weekly. That motivates you; it doesn't stress you out.High emotional intelligence. You can make a frazzled chief of staff feel completely taken care of in two sentences.You'll go where the buyer is. Walking into a room full of strangers and leaving with three names sounds fun, not terrifying. You're comfortable being the face of Met in person and online.Hungry and a little relentless. You're fine hearing "no" many times to get to the "yes" that pays off for years.What you don't needNo transportation, travel, or "ground" experience required — this is a fresh play and we'll teach you the business. What we can't teach is the instinct for this buyer and the drive to hunt. Bring those.The honest part — read this twiceWe are a real, profitable, three-decade-old business. But the way we're going after this market is brand new. There's no big marketing engine yet, no library of polished decks, no script waiting on your desk day one. You would be the first dedicated hunter we've ever had.That means real ownership — you build the playbook the next ten hires will run — and real ambiguity. You have to be the kind of person a blank page energizes, not the kind it paralyzes. If you need a fully-built machine to plug into, please don't apply; you'll be miserable.
