This role ensures that critical materials are delivered on time, in proper condition, and aligned with operational priorities. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in fast-paced and logistically complex environments, including remote or challenging field locations.ResponsibilitiesMaterials & Logistics CoordinationTrack and expedite the movement of materials, tools, and equipment to operational sitesCoordinate shipments via multiple transportation methods (road, air, or other applicable routes)Monitor delivery schedules and proactively resolve delays to minimize downtimeCoordinate with warehouses, field teams, and transportation providersEnsure materials are staged, delivered, and received according to operational prioritiesDocumentation & Inventory ControlPrepare and process shipping documentation, bills of lading, and material transfer recordsMaintain accurate inventory records and material tracking systemsEnsure proper labeling, tagging, and tracking of critical or time-sensitive itemsSupport audits related to inventory and material usageMaintain clear and accurate reporting of material statusVendor & Contractor CoordinationCommunicate with suppliers, service providers, and transportation vendorsTrack purchase orders and follow up on delivery commitmentsResolve discrepancies related to shipments or materialsSupport vendor performance monitoring and reportingCoordinate urgent or emergency material requestsHealth, Safety & Environmental (HSE)Ensure all material handling and transportation activities comply with safety and environmental standardsVerify proper handling of hazardous or regulated materialsReport and document any incidents, damages, or safety concernsParticipate in safety meetings and adhere to operational safety proceduresOperational SupportAdapt to changing operational priorities and logistical challengesSupport time-critical deliveries for field operationsMaintain clear communication with cross-functional teamsAssist in planning and executing logistics strategies in remote or constrained environmentsSkills and QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAdditional training or coursework in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferredExperience2-5 years of experience in logistics, materials coordination, warehouse operations, or supply chain supportExperience supporting field operations in industrial environments (oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, etc.) preferredTechnical SkillsKnowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processesFamiliarity with logistics tracking systems and documentationUnderstanding of material handling requirements, including hazardous materials (preferred)Soft SkillsStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and coordination abilitiesProblem-solving mindset with the ability to manage delays and disruptionsAttention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environmentsAdditional RequirementsAbility to work in remote or challenging environments as neededFamiliarity with safety standards and regulatory complianceRelevant certifications (e.g., forklift operation, first aid/CPR, safety training) are a plusPosition Details:Pay: $40-$50/hour (1099)Location: Anchorage, AKLI-SU1J-18808-Ljbffr
