Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who shall be responsible for the development, enhancement, and sustainment of automation tools in support of system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus Five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools\nExperience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes\nRecent software development experience using Python\nExperience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment\nExperience performing troubleshooting and debugging issues in an operational system\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins\nExperience with Git Source Control System\nDesired Skills:\nFamiliar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox\nFamiliar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as Splunk\nFamiliar with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Keycloak\nFamiliar with Secret Management tools such as HashiCorp Vault\nFamiliar with Message Brokers such as Kafka\nFamiliar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containers\nFamiliar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
