Cardiac Electrophysiology TechA Cardiac Electrophysiology Tech, also known as an Electrophysiology Technologist, is a healthcare professional who assists cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders by performing specialized cardiac procedures like electrophysiology studies (EPS) and ablations, which involve utilizing advanced equipment to map and manipulate the electrical signals within the heart, all while monitoring patient vitals and providing technical support during the procedure.Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. Specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement and EP devices and ablations.QualificationsGraduate of CCAHEP accredited program2 years of Electronophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and Abalation devices required (Would Consider candidates that dont have acute care experience but it is strongly preferred)BLS and ACLS requiredRegistered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)Great benefits.
