{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e97311e1aa43e25c07599fda","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e97311e1aa43e25c07599fda","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e97311e1aa43e25c07599fda","title":"Associate Systems Engineer","description":"The selected individual will be responsible for:\nGenerating, decomposing, and reviewing system requirements.\nModeling system requirements, behaviors and interfaces through Digital Engineering processes and tools.\nSupporting systems development, analysis, and testing.\nDeveloping and evaluating system designs and architectures.\nDeveloping technical solutions and communicating these solutions in support of MITRE’s defense sponsors.\nDeveloping technical papers and presentations that can communicate such activities as architecture designs, Analysis of Alternatives, informational presentations, and technical analysis.\nCollaborating with other engineers across MITRE’s organizations in order to coordinate development efforts, bring the expertise of others to bear on projects, and to ensure common standards of product quality.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field with less than 1 year of related experience\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance.\nUnderstanding of principles of systems engineering (or ability to learn) and approaches for evidence-driven decision making.\nApply knowledge and principles of engineering analysis or data science disciplines to support recommendations to address customer challenges.\nCommitted to continuous learning, innovation and engineering excellence.\nStrong collaboration and communications skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive DoD SECRET Security Clearance.\nAt least one year of industry experience with exposure to range of systems engineering lifecycle activities (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment).\nAcademic or industry experience with Digital engineering modeling tools such as Cameo, MSoSA or Rhapsody.\nRequirements management tools such as IBM rational DOORS.\nMaster’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field with less than 1 year of related experience\nThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):\nNone\nThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):\nNone\nWork Location Type:\nHybrid\nMITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
