Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.,Required SkillsClearance: Active Fully-Cleared with PolyCompliance Certification: Active DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I baseline certification is mandatory (e.g., Security+ CE, CAP, or GSLC).Core Technical Exposure: Foundational professional, academic, or personal project experience working with one or more modern web technologies (such as JavaScript, Vue.js, React, HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, or .NET C#). Note: Code samples or project repositories will be requested for academic and personal projects.Operating Systems: Basic comfort working within Linux environments (including basic command-line navigation, file management, and system permissions), or a strong willingness to master these skills quickly.Feature Execution: Ability to follow structured project tickets, satisfy technical acceptance criteria, and integrate feedback from team code reviews.Collaborative Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to transparently share status updates with team members.Education & ExperienceExperience: No formal professional software engineering experience is programmatically required; however, foundational coding exposure via structured coursework or independent development is necessary.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Substitution: Four (4) years of additional software development experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.,Desired SkillsDatabase & SQL Basics: Conceptual exposure to relational databases (such as MariaDB, MySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle) and foundational SQL querying concepts.Web Server Architecture: Familiarity or interest in application servers and web hosting platforms like Nginx, Apache, and/or Tomcat.System Triage & Diagnostics: An interest in troubleshooting, debugging, reproducing technical issues, and reading application log files.Cloud Engineering: Initial exposure to foundational Cloud Service Provider concepts, particularly AWS or Azure compute, storage, and networking layers.Infrastructure Automation: Foundational exposure to basic system scripting using Python or PowerShell.Agile Frameworks: Interest in working within an Agile team structure, including participating in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.Growth Mindset: A proactive, self-motivated approach to learning from documentation and expanding your capabilities through active peer mentorship.,About Nyla Technology SolutionsNyla Technology Solutions delivers exceptional Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Software Engineering services for the U.S. Government.
