May mentor or provide informal guidance to Technician I and/or Technician II. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nEnsure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by performing limited repairs with minimal\r\n\r\nsupervision on both basic and complex maintenance such as replacement of light bulbs, fuses, lenses,\r\nwiper blades, belts, hoses, batteries, check fluid levels, change fluids and filters and lubricate\r\ncomponents.\r\n\r\nPerform mechanical repairs under minimal supervision including the repair of brakes and brake\r\n\r\ninspections, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs.\r\n\r\nMaintain records of all maintenance work completed on vehicles including parts and supplies used.\r\n\r\nEnsure that work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain parts usage records and\r\norder repair parts from designated suppliers.\r\n\r\nDiagnoses and performs accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under minimal\r\n\r\nsupervision. May perform diagnostic tests utilizing a computer and manufacturer's software to\r\ndetermine mechanical defects.\r\n\r\nLead preventative maintenance (PM's), safety maintenance inspections and annual maintenance\r\n\r\ninspections at prescribed intervals of time and usage\r\n\r\nRemove, overhaul and reinstallation of mechanical components with minimal Tech in Charge supervision\r\nNotify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken\r\nEvaluates completed work prior to release and seeks approval where required\r\nLeads road calls and emergency services as necessary\r\nAdhere to Transdev standards, policies and procedures\r\nMoves vehicles safely between job and work area\r\nRepair and maintain all shop equipment\r\n\r\nOther responsibilities as requested or required\r\n\r\n\r\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
