IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist sets up, manages and troubleshoots the technology systems that MERSINO uses to maintain computer and software networks. Job duties will also include responding to hardware problems, updating system software, and tracking the data and communications used on the network. The IT Support Specialist acts as a working team member and an individual contributor to the overall team's success.Responsibilities:Manage daily IT support calls and support ticketsSupport the company's equipment needs through setup and disbursement of desktop and laptop computer systems company-widePerform routine updates to equipment and devicesResolve employee technology issuesInteract with employees to assist in troubleshooting to identify the root cause of system problemsTrain employees and other users on proper use of MERSINO systems and applicationsWork with the IT team to develop and improve existing training documentationProvide remote desktop supportAssist with the deployment and management of the mobile device management systemQualifications:2-3 years of experience supporting a Windows computer environmentBachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferredCertifications not required, but are a plus (A+, N+, MCP, MCSA/E, VCP)Basic understanding of mobile devices, both Android and Apple preferredProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with customer or employee supportExperience with remote management toolsExperience with AirWatch or equivalent mobile device management platformsTravel - less than 20%Expectations: Excellent communication skillsExcellent organizational and time managementskillsMultitask in a fast paced environmentWork both independently and as part of a teamInitiative to troubleshoot and solve problems independentlyRequired Skills : Desktop Support
